Buy Cotton Coveralls in Abu Dhabi

In UAE heat, the fabric decides whether a coverall gets worn all shift or shrugged off by midday. 100% cotton is the most breathable choice — a natural fibre that stays soft against the skin, lets air move, and keeps a crew comfortable through a long, hot shift better than any synthetic blend. BN International General Trading stocks cotton coveralls from our Abu Dhabi base in weights from 190 to 280 GSM, full colour range, sizes S–5XL, with UAE-wide delivery and cash on delivery.

Want longer wash-life and lower maintenance over maximum breathability? See our Poly-Cotton Coveralls. Need certified flame, chemical or anti-static protection? See the Safety Coveralls range.

Why choose a cotton coverall?

Cotton earns its place on hot UAE sites for one main reason: comfort. As a natural fibre, 100% cotton is more breathable than polyester-rich blends — it lets heat escape and feels softer against the skin through a long shift. It also absorbs sweat, which helps cool the wearer (though it means the fabric can feel heavier and damp late in a shift, and takes longer to dry).

Cotton is the right pick when breathability and all-day comfort matter most — hot outdoor work, construction, general maintenance, and any role where a crew is in the garment for long hours in the heat. The trade-offs to know: cotton wrinkles more than a blend and shrinks slightly over the first few washes (washing cool and air-drying limits this).

If your crews prioritise durability and low upkeep over maximum breathability, our poly-cotton coveralls are the more practical everyday choice — the two pages lay the trade-off out plainly.

Picking the right cotton weight (GSM)

GSM (grams per square metre) is the fabric's weight — with fibre type and weave, it tells you how light or hard-wearing a coverall will be:

GSM
Best for
190–210 GSM Lighter, cooler wear — hot conditions, shorter shifts, indoor work
240–260 GSM The everyday balance — general site and facility wear for most crews
270–280 GSM Heaviest-duty — daily outdoor wear, rougher handling, longer replacement cycles

Lower GSM runs cooler and lighter; higher GSM lasts longer against abrasion and rough handling, at the cost of a little more warmth. In UAE summer, many crews sit at 190–240 GSM for the balance of durability and breathability.

What a good cotton coverall is made of

Beyond the fibre, construction is what makes a cotton coverall last. The better products in the range share the same marks of quality:

  • Twill (drill) weave — a tight diagonal weave that adds strength and a smoother surface over plain cotton.
  • Sanforized & mercerized — pre-treatments that limit shrinkage and give the cotton a stronger, slightly lustrous finish.
  • Bar-tacked stress points and double-stitched seams — reinforcement at shoulders, waist and pockets, where daily wear pulls hardest.
  • Two-way heavy-duty brass zip with a storm flap, plus functional chest, side, back and sleeve tool pockets.
  • Elasticated / action back for free movement, and reflective tape options for low-light visibility.

Exact specs vary by model — the GSM, colour range and pocket layout are listed on each product.

Cotton coveralls by industry

Cotton coveralls are general-purpose site and facility workwear — everyday coverage from dirt, dust and wear, not certified hazard protection. We supply them for:

  • Construction — full-body coverage where comfort in the heat matters as much as durability.
  • General maintenance & facilities — day-to-day repairs, cleaning and varied tasks.
  • Manufacturing & light industrial — breathable daily wear on factory and plant floors.
  • Warehousing & logistics — practical coverage across loading bays and storage.
  • Agriculture & outdoor work — where long hours in the sun make breathability the priority.

What cotton coveralls don’t do: a standard cotton coverall is not certified flame-, chemical- or static-resistant. Cotton’s general behaviour near heat is not the same as certified flame-resistant protection. If your site has genuine flame, arc or heat exposure, you need Fire-Retardant Coveralls; for chemical splash, Chemical-Protective Coveralls; for static control, Anti-Static Coveralls.

Sizing & care

We stock cotton coveralls in S through 5XL (men’s and women’s fits), so a whole crew can ship from one order. To get the most from cotton:

  • Wash cool or warm — expect slight shrinkage over the first few washes; air-drying instead of tumble-drying limits it.
  • Skip chlorine bleach and fabric softener — both weaken cotton fibres over time.
  • Inspect seams and zips before each use, and store clean and dry, out of direct sunlight.

Delivery & payment across Abu Dhabi & the UAE

Based in Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi, we hold cotton coverall stock locally and dispatch in-stock orders quickly, with delivery across every Emirate. Bulk and project orders are scheduled around your site. We accept cash on delivery — pay when your order arrives — plus bank transfer and corporate invoicing for account and project customers.

Frequently asked questions

No. Standard 100% cotton coveralls are general-purpose workwear, not certified FR PPE. Cotton’s behaviour near heat is not the same as certified flame resistance — for flame, arc or heat exposure, choose Fire-Retardant Coveralls.

Not in the certified sense. A standard cotton coverall (sometimes searched as a “safety cotton coverall”) gives general coverage from dirt, dust and wear, but isn’t tested/certified PPE. For certified protection, see our Safety Coveralls range.

Our 100% cotton range starts around 190 GSM. For a genuinely lighter, cooler garment, 135 GSM poly-cotton coveralls are the better fit.

Slightly, over the first few washes — sanforized cotton limits it. Washing cool and air-drying keeps the fit.

Our core cotton colours run navy, royal blue, khaki, grey, red and orange; white and other colours we source to order. Tell us the colour and quantity and we’ll confirm stock.
